“Where, when, and how often will I exercise and what will it be?”
Establishing a positive fitness habit creates both a rock solid foundation for health and a powerful source of momentum.
Health is the easiest thing in the world to take for granted. It seems so easy…until you get sick or run down. We depend on our bodies completely; each breath we take and each step we take inform us of our condition. Each day is filled with miraculous activates with very little thought or intent.
Fitness is taking care of ourselves – keeping the air moving and the blood pumping. These are foundational elements of being alive…which we need to do to thrive in school.
Physical activity is the number one way that we build momentum in our lives. When we exercise we have more energy to fuel our social and academic pursuits. Good news! It is easy to do. There is not a magic activity or special event. Anything is great. Success is achieved with goals and momentum toward them!
The challenge…it is easy not to do.
The answer…make fitness a fun priority and build a habit. Good habits are harder to build, but easy to live with.
